The Art of The Brick

I've been working in London this past week, and while I was there I thought I might as well get some culture in me.
I've wanted to see The Art of The Brick exhibition for quite some time, mostly for the lego dinosaur!
I didn't really expect it to be insightful or meaningful, it more about the fun factor for me, I've always loved lego. While looking at the human form built from lego became a bit monotonous, I was pleasantly surprised with some of the art replicas and portraits he had created, along with a sneaky bit of photo manipulation thrown in there.
Needless to say I enjoyed myself, and the t-rex was rad!

The Row

Now I'm not one to keep up with fashion or follow trends. I like my street wear and I tend to stick to a very neutral palette. I like what I like, and I wear it.
But...I have to admit the new S/S15 collection from established label The Row, has got me wanting to spend my hard earned imaginary dollar. Take a look and tell me you haven't just gone to fashion heaven!

I just love the use of material, the sheer quantity of it! Reminiscent of a Japanese geisha.

Wet Moon

Wet Moon is one of my favourite graphic novels by a very talented artist called Ross Campbell.
I am currently digging out my copies and am about to start reading them all over again. I love the troubled alternative, punk gothic, characters and their everyday problems. Each character has its own story and issues to follow, along with great some great hair styles.

You can find more of Ross Campbell's work here:

FKA Twigs

Tahliah Barnett, also known as FKA Twigs, is a british performer and R & B artist that is on the ascent. Growing up Twigs was a dancer and appears in numerous Jessie J videos. There has already been a lot of hype about Twigs, and over the past few years she has caught the attention of i-D magazine, The Guardian and Spotify. With a sound that is simply unique, think Aaliyah meets Grimes, FKA Twigs can lure anyone in.
As her debut album looms, release date August 12th, Twigs is definitely one to listen out for.
This girl is about to explode!
