Sketch of the day.

Trying to back back into the swing of things. A little sketch from today.

Artist Of The Week: Chase Conley

Chase Conley

Afternoon sketch.

Here's a quick drawing I did this afternoon while I sat outside in my new garden. After the jump are some inspirational pictures.

Some new work.

Just a few new pieces that I'm working on.

Stippling

Today's drawing... I don't get as much time as I'd like to draw these days, and when I do find time I never know what to draw. So I was quite please how this turned out, especially since I had no idea what I was drawing to start with.

I also had a go at stippling which is a technique that I really want to get into. It's very time consuming and hard on the hand, but I love the end result. Definitely going to be seeing more of this in my work.

Apologies for the bad picture. Check out more of work on my instagram: @homesicktruth

Artist of the week - Jeff Stahl

Jeff Stahl is a French caricaturist. His work is amazing. It takes so much skill and patience to create each piece. I only wish I had the talent of this man.

Artist of the week - J.Scott Campbell

Where to start...J. Scott Campbell is one of my favourite artists ever! As a kid I would spend all my pocket money on comics, frivolously copying the pictures trying to mimic the style.

I love the characters and action that he creates, you should all go and check him out immediately.
