Spray paint and patterns.

One of the boys in the shop (URBN) built a couple of chairs for our women's shoe area, and I got to spray paint them. It's part of a running theme through out the shop. More pictures to come.

Urban Outfitters Paris Pop-up Shop.

A couple of weeks ago I heard through work that UO were opening a pop-up shop in Paris. They wanted the entire shop to be covered in canvas art by employees. Each store got three canvases to use. The time scale was really small and it wasn't very well organised, but I did the best I could. I had an idea for a Great Gatsby inspired piece with some text and pattern to it. Looking back I should have used different colours to make the piece stand out more and I could have achieved a lot more if I had more time. I suppose I'm happy with the result considering, but it wasn't the best I could have done. I later found out that the other stores had been able to do theirs in work time as well, so I felt a bit better about my end result knowing this.

Squares

I recently did some work for Urban Outfitters Cardiff, they liked them so much that I was asked to do five more for the re-launch of their Bristol store.
It took me all month, a lot of hand cramp and many cross-eyed moments, but I got them finished. So as long as they like the work, my pieces will be framed and on display at Urban Outfitters Bristol from the  15th April. If you're in the area go in and have a look.

My art in Urban Outfitters Cardiff.

So a week or so ago my final images were finally put up in UO Cardiff. I'm so pleased and they fit so nicely with the clothes around them.
It took me a while but it was worth it, and I might be doing an even bigger piece straight onto the wall in menswear, which would be sick!
Heres some really bad phone pics.
